The Aerofit AF-4918 Chest Butterfly Machine is a Defender Series plate-loaded pec fly machine built for commercial gyms. It drives a butterfly fly movement that isolates the chest through a full stretch and squeeze. Loading standard weight plates on a heavy-duty frame, it delivers smooth, hard-wearing strength training for commercial gyms isolating the chest.
The pec fly is the cleanest way to isolate the chest without triceps taking over. The AF-4918 gives that squeeze on a rugged plate-loaded frame.
The Aerofit AF-4918 Chest Butterfly Machine is a plate-loaded commercial strength machine in the Aerofit Defender Series. It drives a butterfly fly movement that isolates the chest through a full stretch and squeeze. The fly arms follow a natural arc that keeps constant tension on the pecs from full stretch to peak contraction. The Defender Series is Aerofit’s rugged plate-loaded line, built for hard commercial use. Each machine loads standard Olympic weight plates, so there is no weight stack to service and progression is unlimited.
Plate-Loaded Design
Loads standard Olympic weight plates instead of a weight stack. There is no stack to service, progression is unlimited, and the loaded feel is popular with serious lifters.
Heavy-Duty Commercial Frame
A thick, welded steel frame engineered for continuous multi-user traffic in a busy commercial gym, staying rigid and stable under heavy loads.
Isolated Pec Fly Movement
A guided butterfly arc isolates the chest through a full stretch and squeeze, building the pecs without the triceps taking over the way pressing does.
Natural Arm Path
The fly arms follow a comfortable, joint-friendly arc that keeps constant tension on the chest and protects the shoulders.
Commercial-Grade Upholstery
Durable, sweat-resistant padding on a firm base gives comfortable support and holds up to constant daily use without cracking or flattening.
Low-Maintenance Build
With no weight stack, cables or complex mechanisms to wear, the machine needs very little servicing and stays reliable over years of hard commercial use.

Question: What does plate-loaded mean?
Answer: Plate-loaded means the machine is loaded with standard Olympic weight plates rather than using a built-in weight stack. There is no stack to service, resistance is unlimited by simply adding plates, and many lifters prefer the loaded feel. You supply the plates, or confirm what is included on the live product page.
Question: Is the AF-4918 Chest Butterfly Machine suitable for a commercial gym?
Answer: Yes. As part of the Aerofit Defender Series, the AF-4918 Chest Butterfly Machine is built on a heavy-duty commercial frame for continuous multi-user traffic. It is designed for commercial gyms, hotels, clubs and serious training facilities rather than light home use.
Question: What is the difference between a butterfly machine and a chest press?
Answer: A butterfly or pec fly machine isolates the chest through an arcing fly movement with the arms relatively straight, emphasising stretch and squeeze. A chest press is a compound push that also works the triceps and shoulders. The AF-4918 is a fly machine for focused chest isolation.
Question: Are weight plates included?
Answer: Plate-loaded machines are usually priced without plates, but this can vary. Confirm exactly what is included from the live product page or by calling Metro Sports. We can supply Olympic plates to go with the machine if needed.
Question: How much space does it need?
Answer: Confirm the exact footprint from the live product page. Plate-loaded machines vary in size, so measure the area and allow clearance for safe loading, unloading and use before installation.
Question: What warranty applies?
Answer: Full Aerofit manufacturer warranty applies, often with extended commercial coverage on the frame. Confirm exact terms from the live product page or by calling Metro Sports. We handle delivery, professional installation and direct after-sales service across North India.
