Rain, Damp and Your Equipment
Sohra and Mawsynram in Meghalaya are among the rainiest places on earth, and Shillong stays damp and cool for months. Moisture is the main risk for gym equipment here. Lay rubber flooring, keep machines off cold outer walls, run a dehumidifier in the monsoon and wipe frames after every session.
