The reverse hyper is a strength-coach secret: it builds the posterior chain and can help the lower back feel better, not worse. The AF-6549 offers it.
The Aerofit AF-6549 Reverse Hyper Machine is a premium plate-loaded commercial strength machine in the Aerofit Hawk Series. It drives a reverse hyperextension that builds the glutes, hamstrings and lower back while decompressing the spine. The reverse hyper path swings the legs against resistance, loading the glutes, hamstrings and lower back through a strong, controlled arc. The Hawk Series is Aerofit’s premium plate-loaded line, engineered for heavy commercial use with a refined feel and a rugged, long-life build. Each machine loads standard Olympic weight plates, so there is no weight stack to service and progression is unlimited.
Premium Plate-Loaded Design
Loads standard Olympic weight plates instead of a weight stack. There is no stack to service, progression is unlimited, and the loaded feel is popular with serious lifters.
Heavy-Duty Commercial Frame
A thick, welded steel frame engineered for continuous multi-user traffic in a busy commercial gym, staying rigid and stable under heavy loads.
Reverse Hyperextension Movement
A guided reverse hyper path loads the glutes, hamstrings and lower back through a strong arc, building the posterior chain in a way few machines can.
Spine-Friendly Design
The movement can help decompress and strengthen the lower back, making it a favourite of strength coaches and members with back concerns.
Refined, Smooth Movement
Quality bearings and pivots give the Hawk Series a smooth, refined feel through every repetition, which members and trainers notice on a premium gym floor.
Commercial-Grade Upholstery
Durable, sweat-resistant padding on a firm base gives comfortable support and holds up to constant daily use without cracking or flattening.

Question: What does plate-loaded mean?
Answer: Plate-loaded means the machine is loaded with standard Olympic weight plates rather than using a built-in weight stack. There is no stack to service, resistance is unlimited by simply adding plates, and many lifters prefer the loaded feel. You supply the plates, or confirm what is included on the live product page.
Question: Is the AF-6549 Reverse Hyper Machine suitable for a commercial gym?
Answer: Yes. As part of the premium Aerofit Hawk Series, the AF-6549 Reverse Hyper Machine is built on a heavy-duty commercial frame for continuous multi-user traffic. It is designed for commercial gyms, hotels, clubs and serious training facilities rather than light home use.
Question: What does a reverse hyper machine do?
Answer: A reverse hyper machine loads the glutes, hamstrings and lower back by swinging the legs against resistance through a controlled arc. It builds the posterior chain and can help decompress and strengthen the lower back. The AF-6549 offers a movement few gyms have, which can be a distinctive draw. Confirm the exact configuration from the live page.
Question: Are weight plates included?
Answer: Plate-loaded machines are usually priced without plates, but this can vary. Confirm exactly what is included from the live product page or by calling Metro Sports. We can supply Olympic plates to go with the machine if needed.
Question: How much space does it need?
Answer: Confirm the exact footprint from the live product page. Plate-loaded machines vary in size, so measure the area and allow clearance for safe loading, unloading and use before installation.
Question: What warranty applies?
Answer: Full Aerofit manufacturer warranty applies, often with extended commercial coverage on the frame. Confirm exact terms from the live product page or by calling Metro Sports. We handle delivery, professional installation and direct after-sales service across North India.
