The Aerofit AF-4916 High Row Machine is a Defender Series plate-loaded high row machine built for commercial gyms. It drives a high-angle rowing pull that targets the upper back, rear delts and lats. Loading standard weight plates on a heavy-duty frame, it delivers smooth, hard-wearing strength training for commercial gyms targeting the upper back.
The high row hits the upper back from an angle free weights struggle to load safely. The AF-4916 makes it a staple back-builder on the floor.
The Aerofit AF-4916 High Row Machine is a plate-loaded commercial strength machine in the Aerofit Defender Series. It drives a high-angle rowing pull that targets the upper back, rear delts and lats. The fixed high-row path keeps tension on the upper back and rear delts through a full, controlled range. The Defender Series is Aerofit’s rugged plate-loaded line, built for hard commercial use. Each machine loads standard Olympic weight plates, so there is no weight stack to service and progression is unlimited.
Plate-Loaded Design
Loads standard Olympic weight plates instead of a weight stack. There is no stack to service, progression is unlimited, and the loaded feel is popular with serious lifters.
Heavy-Duty Commercial Frame
A thick, welded steel frame engineered for continuous multi-user traffic in a busy commercial gym, staying rigid and stable under heavy loads.
High-Angle Rowing Path
A guided high-to-low rowing angle targets the upper back, rear deltoids and lats with constant tension and a strong, controlled contraction.
Chest Support
A supportive chest pad isolates the back muscles and protects the lower back, so lifters can load heavy without cheating the movement.
Commercial-Grade Upholstery
Durable, sweat-resistant padding on a firm base gives comfortable support and holds up to constant daily use without cracking or flattening.
Low-Maintenance Build
With no weight stack, cables or complex mechanisms to wear, the machine needs very little servicing and stays reliable over years of hard commercial use.

Question: What does plate-loaded mean?
Answer: Plate-loaded means the machine is loaded with standard Olympic weight plates rather than using a built-in weight stack. There is no stack to service, resistance is unlimited by simply adding plates, and many lifters prefer the loaded feel. You supply the plates, or confirm what is included on the live product page.
Question: Is the AF-4916 High Row Machine suitable for a commercial gym?
Answer: Yes. As part of the Aerofit Defender Series, the AF-4916 High Row Machine is built on a heavy-duty commercial frame for continuous multi-user traffic. It is designed for commercial gyms, hotels, clubs and serious training facilities rather than light home use.
Question: What muscles does the AF-4916 High Row work?
Answer: The high row primarily targets the upper back, including the lats, rhomboids and rear deltoids, with the mid-back and biceps assisting. The chest-supported design isolates these muscles and takes strain off the lower back for safe, heavy pulling.
Question: Are weight plates included?
Answer: Plate-loaded machines are usually priced without plates, but this can vary. Confirm exactly what is included from the live product page or by calling Metro Sports. We can supply Olympic plates to go with the machine if needed.
Question: How much space does it need?
Answer: Confirm the exact footprint from the live product page. Plate-loaded machines vary in size, so measure the area and allow clearance for safe loading, unloading and use before installation.
Question: What warranty applies?
Answer: Full Aerofit manufacturer warranty applies, often with extended commercial coverage on the frame. Confirm exact terms from the live product page or by calling Metro Sports. We handle delivery, professional installation and direct after-sales service across North India.
