The Everise Fitness Shrugs Machine (IM8030) is an Imperia Series plate-loaded shrug machine built for commercial gyms. It drives a loaded shrug that isolates and builds the trapezius. Loading standard weight plates on a heavy-duty frame, it delivers smooth, hard-wearing strength training for commercial gyms building the traps.
Big traps finish a physique, and a dedicated shrug machine loads them cleanly. The IM8030 isolates the traps with a strong contraction.
The Everise Fitness Shrugs Machine (IM8030) is a plate-loaded commercial strength machine in the Everise Imperia Series. It drives a loaded shrug that isolates and builds the trapezius. The guided shrug path loads the trapezius through a strong contraction with a comfortable, braced grip. The Imperia Series is Everise Fitness’s commercial plate-loaded line, engineered for heavy gym use with a rugged, long-life build. Each machine loads standard Olympic weight plates, so there is no weight stack to service and progression is unlimited.
Plate-Loaded Design
Loads standard Olympic weight plates instead of a weight stack. There is no stack to service, progression is unlimited, and the loaded feel is popular with serious lifters.
Heavy-Duty Commercial Frame
A thick, welded steel frame engineered for continuous multi-user traffic in a busy commercial gym, staying rigid and stable under heavy loads.
Isolated Trap Shrug
A guided shrug path isolates the trapezius through a strong contraction, building the traps with strict, effective repetitions and easy plate loading.
Comfortable Braced Grip
A comfortable grip and braced position let members load the traps heavily without straining the wrists or lower back.
Commercial-Grade Upholstery
Durable, sweat-resistant padding on a firm base gives comfortable support and holds up to constant daily use without cracking or flattening.
Low-Maintenance Build
With no weight stack, cables or complex mechanisms to wear, the machine needs very little servicing and stays reliable over years of hard commercial use.

Question: What does plate-loaded mean?
Answer: Plate-loaded means the machine is loaded with standard Olympic weight plates rather than using a built-in weight stack. There is no stack to service, resistance is unlimited by simply adding plates, and many lifters prefer the loaded feel. You supply the plates, or confirm what is included on the live product page.
Question: Is the IM8030 Shrugs Machine suitable for a commercial gym?
Answer: Yes. As part of the Everise Imperia Series, the IM8030 Shrugs Machine is built on a heavy-duty commercial frame for continuous multi-user traffic. It is designed for commercial gyms, hotels, clubs and serious training facilities rather than light home use.
Question: Why use a shrug machine instead of dumbbells or a barbell?
Answer: A dedicated shrug machine loads the traps through a guided path with a comfortable, braced grip, so members can build the traps heavily without the grip and wrist strain of dumbbells or a barbell. The IM8030 isolates the trapezius cleanly for strict, effective training.
Question: Are weight plates included?
Answer: Plate-loaded machines are usually priced without plates, but this can vary. Confirm exactly what is included from the live product page or by calling Metro Sports. We can supply Olympic plates to go with the machine if needed.
Question: How much space does it need?
Answer: Confirm the exact footprint from the live product page. Plate-loaded machines vary in size, so measure the area and allow clearance for safe loading, unloading and use before installation.
