The Aerofit AF-9930 is a large-format CrossFit rig built around a modular design that can be customized to reflect a facility’s specific training programs and objectives. Rather than offering a fixed, one-size-fits-all setup, the modular structure means a gym has a wide range of options for building out the optimal configuration for its exercisers, whether that’s adding more stations, adjusting the layout, or expanding the rig to suit different training styles.
This groundbreaking, modular concept is particularly geared toward facilities that want to run exciting small group training sessions. Instead of exercisers working in isolation, the rig’s structure supports coordinated group workouts, making it well suited for CrossFit boxes, functional training studios, and commercial gyms that build their programming around team-based or class-style sessions.
The AF-9930 is a substantial piece of equipment, standing 100 inches (255 cm) tall and weighing 1,499 lbs (600 kg), reflecting its heavy-duty, commercial-grade construction. Given its scale, Aerofit recommends a live training area of approximately 22 feet by 27 feet to accommodate the rig and the surrounding space needed for group training activities. This makes it a serious investment intended for larger commercial gyms, dedicated CrossFit facilities, or training centers with the floor space to support a full-scale rig setup.
Because of its size and modular nature, the AF-9930 functions less like a single machine and more like the structural backbone of a functional training area, a framework that a facility can build its group classes, rig-based conditioning work, and strength programming around. For gyms looking to establish a strong CrossFit or functional training identity, a rig of this scale and flexibility can serve as the defining feature of the training floor.
