What the AF-4308 Compact Lat Pull Down Does
Vertical pulling is the half of back training that unsupervised members actually do, because it needs no setup and no spotter. The pull down loads the lats through a full overhead range with a weight the member selects in a second.
It also does something a pull-up bar cannot. It lets a member train the pattern below their own bodyweight and above it. The beginner works up toward bodyweight, the advanced member loads past it. On a small floor where you have room for one vertical pulling station, that range is what lets a single machine serve your whole membership.
