The Aerofit AF-4953 Incline Chest Press is a Defender Series plate-loaded incline press machine built for commercial gyms. It drives an incline chest press that targets the upper chest and front delts. Loading standard weight plates on a heavy-duty frame, it delivers smooth, hard-wearing strength training for commercial gyms building the upper chest.
The incline press builds the upper chest that flat pressing misses. The AF-4953 makes it a rugged, guided station on the floor.
The Aerofit AF-4953 Incline Chest Press is a plate-loaded commercial strength machine in the Aerofit Defender Series. It drives an incline chest press that targets the upper chest and front delts. The incline path shifts emphasis to the upper chest and front deltoids through a controlled range. The Defender Series is Aerofit’s rugged plate-loaded line, built for hard commercial use. Each machine loads standard Olympic weight plates, so there is no weight stack to service and progression is unlimited.
Plate-Loaded Design
Loads standard Olympic weight plates instead of a weight stack. There is no stack to service, progression is unlimited, and the loaded feel is popular with serious lifters.
Heavy-Duty Commercial Frame
A thick, welded steel frame engineered for continuous multi-user traffic in a busy commercial gym, staying rigid and stable under heavy loads.
Incline Press Angle
An incline path emphasises the upper chest and front deltoids, developing the upper pecs that a flat press works less.
Guided, Safe Movement
A controlled press path lets members load the upper chest heavily and safely without a spotter.
Commercial-Grade Upholstery
Durable, sweat-resistant padding on a firm base gives comfortable support and holds up to constant daily use without cracking or flattening.
Low-Maintenance Build
With no weight stack, cables or complex mechanisms to wear, the machine needs very little servicing and stays reliable over years of hard commercial use.

Question: What does plate-loaded mean?
Answer: Plate-loaded means the machine is loaded with standard Olympic weight plates rather than using a built-in weight stack. There is no stack to service, resistance is unlimited by simply adding plates, and many lifters prefer the loaded feel. You supply the plates, or confirm what is included on the live product page.
Question: Is the AF-4953 Incline Chest Press suitable for a commercial gym?
Answer: Yes. As part of the Aerofit Defender Series, the AF-4953 Incline Chest Press is built on a heavy-duty commercial frame for continuous multi-user traffic. It is designed for commercial gyms, hotels, clubs and serious training facilities rather than light home use.
Question: What does the incline press target?
Answer: The AF-4953 incline chest press shifts emphasis to the upper chest and front deltoids, which flat pressing works far less. It is a key machine for building balanced, full chest development and rounds out a commercial chest line-up alongside flat and wide presses.

Answer: Plate-loaded machines are usually priced without plates, but this can vary. Confirm exactly what is included from the live product page or by calling Metro Sports. We can supply Olympic plates to go with the machine if needed.
Question: How much space does it need?
Answer: Confirm the exact footprint from the live product page. Plate-loaded machines vary in size, so measure the area and allow clearance for safe loading, unloading and use before installation.
