The Aerofit AF-6203 is a lateral raise machine from the Hurricane Series. It trains the side delts, the muscles that give the shoulders width, with the arms guided along a fixed arc.
Built for Shoulder Width
The side delts are what make shoulders look broad, and they are hard to train well with dumbbells: members shrug, swing and let the traps take over. A lateral raise machine guides the arms through the arc so the side delt does the lifting.
Physique focused members ask for a lateral raise machine by name. On a premium floor it is one of the stations that tells them the gym takes their training seriously.
